BabyBio IMAC Uncharged
The ready-to-use BabyBio NTA, BabyBio IDA and BabyBio TREN columns are pre-packed with WorkBeads™ NTA, WorkBeads IDA and WorkBeads TREN media, respectively.
The columns can be charged with the several of the divalent and trivalent transition metal ions (e.g., Ni2+, Co2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Fe3+ or Ga3+) to obtain IMAC columns with different selectivity for His-tagged proteins or other metal ion binding proteins.
The columns can also be used in their uncharged state for removal of the above mentioned metal ions from solution.

BabyBio IMAC Kits
The BabyBio™ His-tag Screening kits contain pre-packed BabyBio columns for Immobilized Metal Ion Affinity Chromatography (IMAC) for a quick and convenient screening process for purification of polyhistidine-tagged (His-tagged) proteins. The kits enable optimization of the purification with the screening of metal ion and chelating ligand.
The BabyBio His-tag Screening kits are available in two column sizes; 1 ml or 5 ml, and each with two different chelating ligands. The screening kits contain columns with WorkBeads NTA or WorkBeads IDA with metal ions: Ni2+, Co2+, Cu2+ or Zn2+,
which are immobilized on the media via the chelating ligand.
